We’re glad you chose to visit us. We strive to provide comfort and safety throughout your stay. Our location on Tema-Akosombo (N2) Highway, and community access were deliberately chosen to enhance your countryside experience. It’s a great strategic location from which to explore, get to, or away from, the city hustle & bustle. Many local and national attractions await you. Our facilities and equipment are new, modern, and world-class.
In addition to hospitality services, we engage in agriculture -Food Value Chain promotion. We produce and aggregatefarm produce – Honey & Bee Products; Turmeric; Ginger; Rice; Corn; Vegetables; Small Ruminant Animals. We promote Farm stands and Farmer’s Markets.We are hopeful that you will have an exciting and eventful stay, no matter how brief. We believe and hope that you will have wonderful moments and memories about your stay at MAMASITA. There is private parking on premises. Continental breakfast is available for guests, upon request. MAMASITA is many things to different people !
It is a Rest Stop, AirBnB, Event Center, Agricultural Marketplace, and a Farmstead! MAMASITA is also a quilt/potpourri/smorgasbord of many cultural acknowledgements and celebrations – African; African-American; Caribbean; Native-American; and Old American Western Country. We do beverages and finger foods (House Finger Nibbles) as well as few traditional Ghanaian dishes, a touch of Mexican, and a touch of southern United States. Checkout our “Mamasita Stage Coach Canteen Menu”. It is updated regularly, though.
Nearby local and national attractions include Akosombo Hydro-Electric Dam, Adomi Bridge connecting you to the Volta Region, the vibrant Adomi & Senchi roadside street vendors, Volta Lake cruises, and yes, the weekend funeral celebrations! Accra (Airport) and Tema (Harbor) are only about 45 minutes’ drive from MAMASITA. Completed in 2021, our facilities, amenities, and equipment are new, modern, and world-class. For your safety, health and maximum occupancy rules apply for spaces.
Our Mission: Since we stand on the shoulders of our numerous elders and ancestors, we can never, ever pay it back…but we can pay it forward. So with sincere gratitude, we acknowledge our forebears who paid it forward for us. And, with humility in service, we try to pay it forward for the new generations as well. Our hope is for all persons we touch to continue paying it forward for future generations. From providing services to our multi-generational customers, we learn from everyone as much as we serve and teach them. Our Logo: The three playful dolphins in our logo represents an invigorated happy family. Dolphin symbolism and meanings include help, guidance, messages, intelligence, fun, joyfulness, freedom, teamwork, transformation, and psychic abilities. The dolphin spirit represents harmony and balance. Dolphins are also a symbol of protection and resurrection. Their playful nature is a reminder that everyone needs to approach life with humor and joy. Their playful and joyful nature also lend to dolphins being associated with youthfulness and harmony, love, and connection with our inner child. “Mamasita” is the adoring pet name of one of the 3 happy dolphins!

Education & Philanthropy: We promoteand solicit educational support for promising but underserved children in rural Ghana through an NGO (Human Service Resources, Inc. https://www.hsrinc.org/ or http://humanservices2.org/). Since 2003, we have supported in cash and kind, provided clothing and feeding support to entire schools, built libraries, built community learning centers, and supported individual school children in Ghana. We have supported children from preschool through tertiary/undergraduate/professional degree programs, through tuition assistance, room and board, and stipends. Our results speak for themselves…..poor children simply need opportunities, without hindrance, without borders!
